I can’t help it, but whenever I hear “More Than A Feeling” by Boston, I think of this scene from Scrubs. (Ted’s air band!)

Sally Mann
My favorite thing today is this photograph from Sally Mann:

Her photos are all along this grain, most of them featuring poor, Southern children. This one’s probably amongst most famous shots:

He’ll save children but not the British children
One of my (oldest) all-time-favorite YouTube videos: George Washington. He’ll kick you apart, ooh!
(Also, it’s been more than ten months since I first posted I’m On a Boat, so it deserves an honorable mention here. Because I was THAT obsessed with it. And kinda still am. …Just watch it, okay?)

More of what we already know but what doesn’t hurt to hear again

I’m Gordon.
The Office is one of my all-time favorite shows, and Ben Franklin is one of my all-time favorite episodes. It’s just genius, beginning to end.

Michael Scott: “A guy’s night out; a G-N-O if you will; a gno. Actually it’s more of a guys afternoon in; G-A-I; a gai. Not… that’s a… not gay. It’s a bridal shower for guys; a guy shower — an hour long shower with guys.”

Michael Scott: “Wow, Ben Franklin, you’re really kind of a sleazebag.”
You can probably find the full episode on the awesome site SideReel.com.

David Jones
Stumbled upon a cool site called Letters of Note, which is a collection of letters, postcards, and other correspondence of famous people. One I liked was from David Bowie:
